Petersburg Outdoor Education Centre Galway, operating under County Galway VEC, has since 1988 developed many exciting outdoor adventure sports activities and challenging expeditions for all age groups. People often associate outdoor activities with a certain age group but the reality is that outdoor adventure activities can be devised to suit most age groups and people ranging from senior citizens to youths have enjoyed their stay at Petersburg. The centre is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, staffed by enthusiastic well qualified instructors, backed up by quality home cooking and can offer various accommodation styles ranging from dormitory style to en-suite rooms. Petersburg offers activity programmes for Schools, Youth Clubs, Youth Cafés, Foróige groups and Neighbourhood Youth Projects. Petersburg Outdoor Education Centre provides a wide range of outdoor activities suitable for most age groups. All of the adventure sports are on offer for adult groups . Adults may want these at a more advanced level or even complete a training course. Residential and non residential corporate team building can be provided. Specialist Environmental Courses can also be run in spectacular natural surroundings.
