Shannon Navigation

The Shannon, Ireland’s longest river, has facilities for boating and over the past few decades the quays, jetties and harbours have all been upgraded. It has also been open up to Lough Allen via the Lough Allen Canal and the Erne Navigation via the Shannon Erne Waterway. There are further upgrades planned in the coming years which will make it even more friendly to waterway traffic.
