Tara Cruisers is a small personal firm operating a fleet of top of the range, self-drive, Hire Cruisers of steel construction built between ’92 and ’95. Many of the customers have no previous boat experience. The staff will give you complete instructions until you are confident to take control of the boat. No license is required but the skipper must be over 21 years. The reception staff are fluent German speakers. They can assist you in planning your cruise on the Shannon. Many of the customers return year after year. Newcomers are treated like old friends. If you arrive by air, you will be greeted by their transport representative at the airport and brought to their main base. Travel time 2 hours Dublin Knock 45 mins.
