Kingfisher Cycle Trail

Cycling is the perfect way to see a country like Ireland, and the Kingfisher Trail is unique in its blend of the widest variety of scenery in any Irish trail, six fantastic routes to suit your pace and many different types of cycling terrain. This is a mapped and signposted cycle route covering over 480 km (300 miles) through counties Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim and Monaghan, Roscommon and Fermanagh. The southern start point is located at the railway station in Cortober, Carrick-on-Shannon. There are a number of holiday packages ( accommodation, bicycle hire, map, back-up services etc. ) available online. There are three types of routes: casual, active and challenging. Ideal for independent cyclists.
