The Ice Child

The Ice-Child is a new Irish fairy-tale by Mike Kenny that tells the story of what happens when the fairy-folk stole a baby and replaced it with the Ice Child.

 

The story is a tale of growing up differently and learning about love.

 

The Ice Child can’t be hugged or cuddled as he will simply melt. But if he can’t be touched how can he be loved?

 

The show uses real-time video and live performances to enact the dazzling tale about people and fairies.

 

The world premiere of the Ice Child takes place at Watergate Theatre on 27th February.
