Skellig Boat trips

In summer season (April to October, inclusive), Des and Pat Lavelle run a daily boat trip to Skellig Michael - subject to the weather and sea conditions of the moment. Departure time is 10.30am, and the departure point is Portmagee harbour, County Kerry. The trip takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes each way, passing very close to Small Skellig and its 27,000 pairs of nesting gannets en route. But don’t have eyes only for the birds; a dolphin can also take flight!
