The Ennis Street Festival is a celebration of Clare and the festival, run by volunteers, is a mix of music, dance, theatre and street performers to name a few. The family-friendly festival lasts for three days and everyone is guaranteed to have lots of fun.
 
Family event highlights include Kidisco, Ennis Street Festival Samba Band and Red Riding Hood and the Builders puppet show.
 
The Kidisco takes place Friday, 4th July and is a fusion of dance and disco by DJ Will Softly and dancer GiGi.  However, it is not just for kids and the free event is designed so that adults and kids get dance together to disco mixes, funk, reggae, disco and hip hop. GiGi will be on showing off dance routines that kids will be able to follow.
 
The Ennis Street Festival Samba Band takes place at 5:30pm in O’Connell Square on the 4th, 5th and 6th July - this free event is sure to delight the whole family.
 
Red Riding Hood and the Builders puppet show will take place on Friday, 4th July at 4:30pm and 5:30pm in glor. Tickets are €5.00 and should be booked in advance.
