Galway International Arts Festival

The Galway Arts Festival will take place from Monday, 14th – Sunday 27th July, and for two weeks Galway will be a buzz with entertainers, music, visual arts and family events.

 

One of the biggest events in Ireland, the festival will showcase a diverse range of acts and performances including Dance of the Lobsters, a free event that will see huge inflatable lobsters walking around the city; Dragonus, another free event whereby stilt-walkers and a monumental moving dragon will simply blow you away; performances by the Dublin Gospel Choir and A Dawn Chorus that will greet the sun as it rises over Galway Bay.

 

For two weeks, visitors and locals are sure to be entertained, amazed and enthralled by the wonderful comedy, spectacles, theatre and much much more.
