About

The Giro d’Italia is one of the greatest cycling events in the world and it is coming to Dublin.

Stephen Roche famously won this race back in 1987 so it definitely has a special place in the hearts of Irish people.

The race starts in Armagh and finishes 187km away in Dublin. To celebrate this cycling spectacular, there will be plenty of family fun in Dublin’s Fair City.

Oxfam will be hosting five hours of free outdoor live music on Saturday 10th May on Dame Court from 5pm and there will be a ‘Story Map’ tour from Kilmainham on bikes at 3pm. Booking is advisable.

There will also be plenty of family fun things going on in Grand Canal Dock, George’s Dock and Merrion Square on the Saturday and Sunday.
