If you couldn’t make Electric Picnic but still want to take the kids to a festival, then the KnockanStockan Festival is for you.

 

The family-friendly independent music and arts festival, takes place on Friday, 25th - Sunday, 27th July. It has been running for seven years beside Blessington Lakes in Co. Wicklow.

 

This three day open air festival delivers a diverse musical programme with over 150 Irish acts including jazz, contemporary, classical, dance and traditional Irish music taking place at this small festival.

 

This year’s line up includes Conor Linnie, Bob Glynn, Liza Flume and Lan Loves to name but a few.

 

However, while under 12s are admitted free of charge to the event when accompanied by an adult, anyone aged between 13-17 years won’t be admitted, even if they are with a parent.   

 

With camping facilities included in the €75 price, you really can’t go wrong.
