Call of the Sea

This museum in Castletownbere tells all about the maritime history of West Cork. You will learn all about Beara Peninsula and the Vikings as they took part in smuggling and often took hostages. The museum is open seasonally from Mon-Fri 10am to 5pm and on Saturday and Sundays from 1pm to 5pm.
