Blackrock Castle Observatory

Blackrock Castle Observatory is a 16th century Castle located 4km from the heart of Cork city on the banks of the river Lee. Blackrock Castle has abundant car and coach parking facilities adjacent to the Castle and they are only 10 minutes by car from Cork city centre. Blackrock Castle Observatory is a joint venture between Cork City Council , Cork Institute of Technology and a private benefactor.
