Faughan Valley Golf Club

Faughan Valley Golf Club was founded in 2001 and is situated along the meandering banks of the River Faughan. The length of the course (5722yds) is more than compensated for with the hidden dangers that await the unsuspecting. This course will test any standard of golfer and in particular, the par 5 third hole. The tee shot is important here as finding the fairway is the difference between a par and possible double figures. The green protrudes out into the lake and a watery end awaits those that are careless in their approach. The course was designed by a Father / Son combination, Albert and David Forbes. The Forbes family also own the picturesque Hill Valley Par 3 nine hole course on the outskirts of Sion Mills, and comes as part of your membership Package. Situated centrally, with the airport on one side and the city on the other, and The White Horse Hotel just minutes away, Faughan Valley suits the travelling golfer to a tee!
