There's fun for everyone at Castlecomer Discovery Park with their Halloween Events!

 

The Zip of Terror

In the forest dark and deep, poltergeists and puca awake from their sleep. Are you brave enough to zip through the night sky before wandering through a forest full of frights? Only the bravest will survive.

An exclusive over 16’s event, running from 7.30p.m on 26th- 29th October 2018.

Limited spaces so book early! (payable in advance).

Allow 90 minutes for this exclusive scare-fest event!

BBQ in the Woods

Make the most of the October Bank Holiday Monday and head to Castlecomer Discovery Park for a BBQ Bash for all the family.

Enjoy the afternoon and head outdoors for family entertainment with fun activities for the kids and a tasty BBQ in beautiful natural woodlands.

The kids can explore the magical fairy village while enjoying the best of Irish produce, delicious burgers with an assortment of salads.

The event takes place on the 29th of October 2018 at 1.30pm. 

 

Fruits of the Forest Family Foraging Event

All of us remember picking blackberries along the hedgerows as children, but the forest has so much more to offer and we are inviting you to our family foraging feast!

As part of Savour Kilkenny we are holding a family foraging day.  

Spend time exploring the woodlands of Castlecomer Discovery Park, foraging for wild food and learning to identify plants. 

Search for edible fungi, fruits, nuts, and berries, and learn how to make yummy dishes using all that you have found.

The event takes place on the 29th of October 2018 with two sessions, one at 12pm and 2.30pm.
