Saint Mullins Heritage Centre

Saint Mullins Heritage Centre was built in 11811 and was formerly a Church of Ireland church. The centre is located next to monastic ruins and cemetery. McMurrough Kavanaghs of Borris are buried in a vault underneath the church and there are five monuments within the church dedicated to these remains. Publications, records, maps, artifacts and old photographs are all housed at the centre. Tours of the site are available when booked in advance. The centre is open Mondays and Tuesday s from 9am to 4.30pm, Wednesday s from 9am to 1pm (October to June) and Sundays from 2pm to 6pm (June to October).
