St. Kilian's Heritage Centre

This heritage centre is dedicated to the life, work and times of Kilian who was a saint from Mullagh in the 7th century. St. Kilian was martyred while on a mission to modern-day German and today is one of the patron saints of Wurzburg in Germany. There are artifacts and audio-visual presentations in the centre with a 15minute film on St Kilian's life and his cult following as well as the connection between Mullagh and Germany. There is also an exhibition room where photographs, maps, statuettes, manuscript and art reproductions can be seen. The centre is open from Easter to October, Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 6pm and Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays from 2pm to 6pm.
