Drimnagh Castle

This is the only castle in Ireland that is surrounded by a flooded moat. This moat is now stocked with fish and makes for a very picturesque site. Features of the castle include stables, dairy and folly tower and a 17th century garden. The castle is open to visitors from April to October on Wednesday s, Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to5pm. It is open from November to March on Wednesday s from 12pm to 5pm and Sundays from 2pm to 5pm.
