About
The Barracks now serves as Cahersiveen Heritage Centre. It was once an RIC Barracks but burnt down in 1922. It serves as an interpretive centre to the community and there are exhibitions on Daniel O’ Connell and the Fenian uprising on display. The centre is open from May to September, Monday to Saturday, 10am – 5pm and Sunday from 1pm – 5pm.
