Proleek Dolmen

Proleek Portal Tomb is an excellent example of a portal tomb. It is located on the grounds of Ballymascanlon Hotel on Cooley Peninsula. The tomb is 3m in height and features a large capstone that is 35tons in weight. It is believed that anyone who throws a pebble on to the capstone will have a wish granted.
