Hill of Tara

The Hill of Tara has been an important site since the late Stone Age. There is a passage tomb located at the hill. The Hill of Tara was also the seat of the High Kings of Ireland and was the highest centre for both political and religious power in early Christian times. There are guided tours and audio-visual shows on site.
