Saint Patricks Cathedral Trim

This Cathedral comes from the 15th century and the stone tower attached to it comes from the medieval parish church of Trim. Although Bishops were enthroned at this church since 1536, it was not until 1955 that it was raised to Cathedral status. In 1716 Jonathan Swift attended the enthronement of John Evans. There are some lovely examples of stained glass within the Cathedral.
