Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery

This cemetery is the largest megalithic tomb cemetery in Ireland. It is also one of the oldest in Ireland and some of the monuments are 6 and a half thousand years old. There are 60 tombs in the cemetery and a restored cottage where you can see exhibitions. There are tours available that last 45minutes long and it is recommended that suitable shoes are worn as the grounds are uneven.
