Colin Glen Forest Park

As well as a regular programme of events, there are a number of trails, which can be followed throughout the Park. These routes are to be found marked on posts along the path network and the distances involved are indicated on the sign outside the Forest Park Centre. The Forest Park Centre provides information on the flora and fauna of Colin Glen as well as the history of the park and the Colin Glen Trust, which manages the park. The Centre can also be visited to get a map, hire pond nets or other activities or to book some of the other services available such as educational visits, birthday parties or use of the beautifully decorated Education Room for conferences or meetings. The Centre provides somewhere to rest after a walk, or to use the toilets, public phone or gift shop, a must for any visitor to the Glen. A small contribution to the Trust at reception ensures the continued conservation of the Glen.
