Gougane Barra Forest Park

This park is situated in the Shehy mountains and goes through Green Valley Desmond along to Gougane Barra lake. There is lots of wildlife in the park as well as 20 different species of trees. There is a 10km hill walking trail as well as a 5km motor trail. There is a car park and picnic area and guided tours can be arranged.
