Stephenstown Pond Nature Park

Stephenstown Pond is a beautiful nature park in Dundalk and it would make an ideal family day out this weekend.

 

Mums and dads will love wandering through the woodlands while the kids discover the hidden wildlife, feed the ducks in the pond or make new friends in the playground. Visitors can even go pond fishing, but don’t forget to get your permit from the reception first.

 

Before you leave, pop into The Dairy Maid coffee shop to sample some delicious homemade bakery or to warm up after your walk.

 

During the month of January, the nature reserve is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Admission is just €3.00 per car making it an inexpensive way to enjoy some precious family time and get out in the fresh air.
