Oak Park Forest Park

Oak Park Forest Park is a very scenic area that is ideal for a relaxing day of walking. Trees in this park include beech, oak, scots pine, silver fir, sycamore and larch. There is lots of wildlife in the forest including swans and ducks. There are woodland walks that extend over 4 kilometers and include Butlers Wood Loop, the Lake Patg, Fox Covert Track and Sally Island Trail. Admission is free and the park is daily all year round. From May to September the park opens from 8am to 9pm and from October to April the park opens from 8am to 5pm.
