Do you find yourself with a hamper-sized headache every time you peep into the laundry room? Is your laundry 'room' a chair in the corner of your bedroom? Do you need to go from dirty to done in as little time as possible? Then read on, dear friends.
We've found some of the smartest and ingenious laundry tips and tricks to make your day that bit easier. We know you have probably not slept well in weeks, we know that all you want is a warm cup of tea and we are here to show you some of the most life-changing washing hacks you may have ever seen.
1. Ice-ice baby
Do you have your very own dryer? Well, you are in luck, ladies. This hack means you save on ironing times. No really. Just toss that wrinkly baby gro into the dryer with a dryer sheet and an ice cube for ten minutes and it will come out fresh and smelling delicious! You're welcome.
2. Tin Foil trick
Balling up some tin foil into the dryer will reduce static electricity and make those towels extra fluffy.
3. Keep it clean
Don't forget to keep the cleaner clean! You can use a mix of baking soda and white wine vinegar. Make a paste and scrub the drum. Make sure to remove any mould that might form in the rim that lines the door.
4. No more banging
Your adorable toddler loves jumping into puddles but often forgets he's not wearing boots. Pop his damp shoes into the tumble drier but to avoid the banging noise that shoes can make in the drier, catch the laces in the door as you shut it.
5. Make your drying dry faster
Put a fluffy towel in the dryer with your clothes and it will help absorb water. Just pull it out after about ten minutes so it doesn't continue to add to the water in the dryer.
6. Use the best detergent
We love Fairy non-bio which gets your baby clothes super clean and soft while also being gentle on baby's skin.
