A strong contender for the worst husband of the year, 31-year-old Joshua McCall got in trouble with police after a fight with his wife in which he called her lazy and fat just two days after she gave birth to their daughter.
The incident started when the couple’s dog did a poo on their floor and he shouted at his wife to clean it up. When she protested that she was still in pain after having given birth two days earlier, he told her to “quit being lazy and burn some calories.”
He also told her that the paternity leave he had taken from work was not to help her with the baby, but because he wanted a holiday.
His wife thankfully did not put up with this treatment, and left with the baby. She called police from a neighbour’s place to help her remove her things from the house as she was scared of her husband.
Police escorted her into the house to collect her belongings, and asked Joshua why she was upset, to which he replied, “I don`t know why, we are having life problems and she`s probably having female problems.”
When his wife tried to take their dogs Joshua started screaming at her in front of their neighbours, and he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
Let’s hope that poor woman stays free of him, imagine her poor baby girl growing up in that environment.
