On Friday, February 8, wagamama Ireland turns over a whole new leaf by expanding their current offering to include a fully stacked 100 percent vegan menu. A colourful combination of brand new and re-imagined choices, the new menu features pan asian flavours which reflect the soul of wagamama’s core belief: positive change. Kaizen, meaning ‘good change’ is the philosophy that sits right at the heart of wagamama.
“Dublin has always had a very exciting multi-cultural food scene with new unique restaurants and menus popping up across the city. Veganism has been steadily growing in this city which is evident by movements like Veganuary, and we’re excited to get involved and expand the vegan offering in Dublin. Our first ever dedicated vegan menu is the starting point to support a vegan lifestyle choice.
"When developing the menu, we wanted to eradicate the myth that meat free means taste free. We listened closely to our loyal legion of fans to make sure we are constantly evolving and pushing ourselves and I believe our new vegan menu does just that.” Rob Neilan, Development Head Chef wagamama Ireland.
The new vegan menu offers four tasty starter dishes and seven delicious mains. Try the newly crafted Kare Burosu Ramen; vitamin-rich vegetables in a curried broth, accompanied by shichimi coated silken tofu and brought to life with a kick of chilli and a fresh coriander garnish. Our spicy Yasai Samla Curry also features as a highlight, alongside our Yasai Steamed Gyoza and Itame rice noodle-based dish.
Pick from all kinds of rice and noodle dishes, alongside fresh salads and shareable sides. There are also desserts, fresh juices, hot drinks, wine and sake, all 100 percent vegan friendly.
In the name of kaizen, our standards are high. Our ingredients are cooked fresh and served fresh. Every bowl and plate that we fill is served as soon as it’s ready. The colours, aromas, flavours and spices are always at their best when they touch your table. A warming bowl of ramen or if you would rather a rice based dished, our menu features a great range of Japanese favourites.
The new vegan menu is available across all three wagamama venues: South King Street, Dundrum Town Centre and Blanchardstown Shopping Centre.
