It was announced this morning that The Duchess of Sussex would become Patron of four organisations that reflect the causes and issues with which she has long been associated, including Smart Works.

Smart Works helps long term unemployed and vulnerable women regain the skills, confidence and tools to succeed at job interviews, return to employment and transform their lives.

Meghan visited the Smart Works HQ this morning where she joined in on a discussion with volunteers and women who have received help from the charity.
The mum-to-be dazzled in a fitted black dress by maternity brand Hatch and a chic trench coat by Oscar de la Renta. The Duchess’ bump has certainly popped in recent weeks. Baby Sussex will no doubt be arriving very soon.
Speaking about the empowering charity, Meghan said: “Being part of a community that I’m so drawn to here. It’s not just donating your clothes and seeing where they land, but really being part of each other’s success stories as women.

“It’s not just hand-me-downs. It’s saying ‘this is the blazer I wore to help me land that interview and I want this to be the piece that helps this woman have that part of her story’.”

She continued: “To know as a woman coming in, I would imagine, that you have so many other women believing in you on all the next phases is the piece that makes it so special.”
During her visit, Meghan even helped members of the Smart Works community put together outfits.
