A woman has been arrested and charged for the horrific murder of 30-year-old mum Natalia Roberts in the United States.
Catherine Goins had called police saying she had shot an intruder in her ex-boyfriend’s home, but they soon discovered the disturbing truth.
Catherine, whose boyfriend had left her for pretending to be pregnant, decided to steal a child and tell him it was hers.
Meeting Natalia, Catherine lured her into her ex-boyfriend's house with the promise of baby clothes for her three-week-old baby.
Once the unsuspecting mum was inside, Catherine allegedly shot her and then ran off with her baby and three-year-old child.
The country sheriff states about the charges:
“We're calling it murder because that's what it is," he said. "She flat-out murdered her."
Natalia’s children are currently staying with a family member.
