31-year-old Jeni Bluett is overjoyed to have fulfilled her husband's wish of becoming a father, but wishes her daughter Pixie's dad was still alive to meet her.

Jeni from Merseyside and Jim from Co.Limerick met while on holiday in Ayia Napa in 2003. The couple got engaged in 2010 after Jim was tragically diagnosed with cancer.

Jeni remembers that the pair were determined not to let Jim's
diagnosis overshadow their wedding day, but were dealt another terrible blow when they learned that Jim had developed four brain tumours in 2011. Jim passed away in February 2012, just two months after marrying his wife.

Jeni's husband had elected to have his sperm frozen while undergoing cancer treatment allowing his widow to give birth to twin girls in October 2013.

Opening up about the family herself and Jim intended to start together, Jeni said: "We'd spoke about it at length when he was alive so when I fell pregnant with twins, it felt like fate."

Recalling her decision to begin a family after her husband's demise, the 31-year-old said: "When he passed away I was adamant I was going to go ahead with the treatment as I couldn't cope with him never coming back, I wanted a part of Jim so much with me always."

Tragically, one of Jeni's daughters died 23 days after her birth, but in an admirable show of positivity, Jeni said: "I feel like I gave birth to two beautiful identical little girls for a reason and that's so Jim and I can have one each so neither of us will ever be lonely."

The young mum says her belief that Jim and baby Lillie are now together helps with the grieving process, admitting: "That's the only way I can comprehend in my mind about losing Jim and Lillie as I know they are in heaven together."

Jeni, who went into labour at 21 weeks, opened up about her daughters' difficult delivery, saying: "I always had Jim's wedding ring around my neck so it was just thinking of him and us together and my mum who was there with me every step of the way that kept me sane."

Tragically, while baby Pixie began to thrive her sister Lillie struggled and passed away on November 21st 2013.

The devastated mum recalls her daughter's passing, saying: "I just held Lillie all that day and evening until she passed away. My heart was broken." Baby Lillie was buried with her dad in Co,Limerick.

Looking to the future, Jeni focuses all her attention on sixteen-month-old Pixie, saying: "Pixie is more like Jim each day. She's the spitting image- and is as cheeky as him well."
