We’ve seen women dancing and singing through their labour, but the following report – which has gone viral around the world – is certainly a first!
A woman has made waves on social media after her sister shared a photo of her taking a psychology exam – while in labour.
Shannell Brinkley-Chapman took to Facebook to share the incredible photo depicting sister Tommitrise Collins scrubbed-up and sitting in a hospital bed in front of her laptop.
“This is what you call ‘Strong Priorities’. Contractions three minutes apart and still takes her psychology test! You are going to be a great mom, baby sis!” wrote a proud Shannell.
According to further updates on Shannell’s Facebook page, Tommitrise went on to give birth to a daughter named Tyler, who weighed 7lb 10oz.
Well done to Tommitrise – that is quite a feat. We have no doubts that this determined and brave lady also passed her psychology exam!
Tommitrise is the latest mum to show off her incredible multi-tasking skills in recent times. Yuki Nishizawa made headlines earlier this year for singing and dancing – and not missing a beat – while in labour with her little one.
Fair play to these ladies – we’re not sure we would be so capable in the same situation!
