I am one of the moms who took part in the tony ferguson trial. I attended boots in bray and my support team was carmel and amanda.
I lost a total of 12lbs on the program and my BMI went from 36.9 to 35 which is brilliant in 6 weeks. I was already started on a weightloss journey. It was something i had started in Jan 2012 but as with all diets it was over a year in and i was starting to lost motivation. This plan came along at the right time and kicked me back into gear.
Apart from losing the weight, i gained some much knowledge and realised how many terrible bad habits and choices i make when it comes to my eating and food. I now enjoy vegtables, i have never eaten so many in my life and now i couldnt imagine a meal without them, its just become a given!
I used to have the bar in the morning with a cup of tea, made me feel like i was having something enjoyable and took my time to enjoy it. The milkshake was great at lunch as i was able to have it while i made my stirfry and stopped me picking at other stuff! I saw a real difference in how i felt and health wise i no longer feel guilty that i am not looking after myself. I have now lost over 3 stone overall and i am motivated to continue to lose 2 more. For me taking on a new diet is not about a quick fix, its about chaging my attitude and bad habits and these are changes i want to make for life.
THE PLAN PROS AND CONS~
Pros:

You have to want to do this, forget the excuses and just do it, take the time, take 3 months and just do it
YOu change how u feel about food and yourself
You feel great
You have breakfast and lunch ready and there is no effort required!
The support, online and a 24 call line and also my support team in boots bray were amazing
THE RESULTS!
cONS:

Again, you have to want to do this
First week is hard, like really tough, but you will get over it!
The cost i guess would be my biggest issue, i am a stay at home mom and the plan costs money
Be prepared for nites out and nites in where u cant indulge so much, but just know its all for the overall good!

Then I would either have a shake or bar for lunch. Dinner is a normal dinner which is low in fat, high in protein and carbs (yes carbs) and if you feel stuck for exciting dinner options, they have created a recipe book full of appropriate recipes which aren’t just about grilled fish and chicken. I found this a huge help as I needed the family to buy into my healthier dinners. They were high of taste and low on complaints. This isn’t a crazy diet where you only eat green food, or where you are required to consume copious amounts of protein to lose weight. It’s actually, well, normal.
