Theirs was one of the most tragic stories of last year, and it touched the hearts of everyone who read about it, but now there has been a positive update for the Johnson family.

A year after Brynn Johnson lost her 17-month-old daughter Rowyn in a devastating accident, she has welcomed a baby daughter.

Little Rowyn lost her life after Brynn’s best friend, Cassie Miller, accidentally ran over her, but the latest update in the story shows that the past year has been a time of great healing for all involved.

After welcoming baby daughter Mynrow into the world, one of the first people Brynn invited over to meet her was Cassie.

Commenting on the birth to local media, Brynn said: “Mynrow’s birth was incredibly emotional for all of us. It was the same hospital I delivered Rowyn and I replayed that beautiful moment throughout my labour...Each day since Mynrow has been born, my heart feels just a little bit better.”

“We chose the name Mynrow as it is almost an anagram of Rowyn’s name, it just seemed perfect,” she added.

Last year’s horrific accident occurred when Cassie was picking up Brynn’s other child, son Wyatt, for school. Cassie thought that Rowyn was on the house porch when she pulled out of the driveway, but unbeknownst to her, the tot had climbed out of the car.

Brynn has never blamed Cassie for her daughter’s death, and she said this week: “Cassie has an instant love for [Mynrow] just like she did Rowyn. It was very emotional for her as well and it was so beautiful to see the love in her eyes as she held her for the first time.”
