An unusual birth, or one that smashes high odds, always brings excitement at MummyPages HQ, and below is a triple dose of good news for our readers.

A British mum has spoken of her delight after giving birth to ‘miracle’ triplet daughters.

Sarah Johnson and her partner are settling into life with their newborn tots, and shared their heart-warming story with local newspaper The Liverpool Echo

Little Darcie, Macy and Bobbie-Ann were all conceived naturally, reportedly beating odds of 25,000-to-one. The gorgeous tots were born after 33 weeks and six days and, incredibly, two of the babies are actually identical twins.

The 31-year-old mother told the newspaper that she has been waiting ‘forever’ to have a daughter, and she feels incredibly lucky to now have three.

A number of mums have been making headlines recently with their multiple births, with Australian Kim Tucci giving birth to quintuplets Keith, Tiffany, Penelope, Beatrix and Allie. Tucci smashed odds of one-in-60 million with the births of her five little ones.

Congratulations to Sarah and her partner – this is the beginning of a beautiful new journey.

Share this story to warm hearts this afternoon.
