Bichon Frise
These adorable little dogs are both playful and active and won’t leave a pile of hairs on the floor. However, they do require plenty of trips to the groomers to keep their coat clean and knot-free.
Poodle
These beautiful breeds make fantastic pets and coming in standard, miniature and toy size, you are sure to find one that suits your lifestyle. They do need a lot of grooming, but you can always learn to do it yourself if you don’t want to shell out a fortune every few months.
Yorkshire terrier
This beautiful breed is not completely non-shed and you will need to brush them frequently, but their small size makes them ideal for families.
Schnauzer
These dogs are very good around children and while their coat will need to be shaved off at least once or twice a year, they tend not to shed.
Shih Tzu
This breed is affectionate and obedient and while its coat does require a lot of maintenance you can have it clipped short to prevent the hassle of daily brushing.
