Prince George and Princess Charlotte will meet baby cousin Archie today

A little over a week has passed since Meghan and Harry welcomed their baby boy Archie into the world.

The new parents have been enjoying their time together as a family-of-three and have yet to introduce their son to his grandparents Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their three children also haven’t met their new family member as they wanted to give Harry and Meghan some alone time during this momentous time in their lives.

Sources have now confirmed that the Cambridges will meet the tiny tot today at Windsor Castle.

Kate, William, George, Charlotte and Louis are said to be extremely excited to visit the new parents and their adorable newborn son.

Royal commentator Omid Scobie revealed details of the special visit on Twitter. He wrote: “Sources confirm that Prince William and Duchess Kate will be meeting baby Archie for the first time early this week.”

A source told The Mirror that George and Charlotte haven’t stopped asking about their baby cousin since he was born on May 6.

“Prince George, 5 and Princess Charlotte, 4, have already been asking their parents when they can meet their new cousin, they are as excited as anybody.”

Princes Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall won’t meet their grandson until later in the week, but there’s no doubt the grandparents are beyond excited to meet them, just like the Cambridge children.

The source added, “Prince Charles and Camilla were in constant contact when they were in Germany and are so excited to spend some time with the new family.”
