Why not consider running it in aid of Don Bosco Care, a little known charity who do a very special job of looking after young people damaged by their upbringing and need help to survive.
Don Bosco Care provide homes, one-to-one rehabilitation and assistance to education in an effort to bring them back to become functioning members of society.
They provide safe, healing homes for young people who cannot live with their own families, often due to their parents struggling with alcohol and drug addictions. Some are living in homes where emotional and physical abuses are an everyday occurrence.
Don Bosco Care helps to rebuild their lives, giving them a chance to achieve their potential.
In order to continue their very important work they are asking mums to run the VHI Mini Marathon and raise much-needed funds.
