Service of remembrance for babies to be held in Galway this Sunday

A service of remembrance is to held in the Church of the Holy Family in Mervue, Co Galway this Sunday at 3pm.

The event which has been organised by Feiliacain, the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland welcomes all those affected by the death of an infant.

The organisation was established by bereaved parents who offer support to those dealing with the loss of a child through stillbirth or neonatal death.

In addition to offering support to parents and families, the organisation promotes research into the causes of perinatal loss

Anyone struggling with a bereavement of this nature is encouraged to attend and remember the infant in the company of other people dealing with similar issues.
