This Friday, enjoy some much-needed retail therapy without the guilt by helping out a fantastic cause at the same time.

CMRF Crumlin and Bestseller are calling on the public to indulge in a spot of weekend shopping to help raise money for the radiology department at the hospital.

This Friday, 10th April, Bestseller, the international family owned fashion company, is arranging a worldwide charity day across all its brands and countries with the Give-A-Day campaign.

CMRF Crumlin, the fundraising body for Our Lady’s Children Hospital Crumlin and the National Children’s Research Centre, has been chosen as the charity recipient for the Irish campaign.

Bestseller has a selection of retail brands in Ireland including Jack & Jones, Vero Moda, Vila, Only and Name It as well as wholesale brands Selected Homme, Pieces Accessories, Only & Sons, Noisy May and First and I offering shoppers a large selection of fashion to choose from in supporting this deserving cause.

In total, 50% of the net turnover generated in Ireland that day will be donated to the children’s charity, which will go towards much needed improvements in the radiology department at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin. The remaining 50% will be donated to a global charity of Bestseller’s choice.

Both tops available from Vero Moda; the maxi dress is available from Vila

All monies raised will help fund new radiography equipment which will reduce the radiation dose to a child while also improving x-ray imagery.

Raising money for charity while shopping is the ultimate feel-good activity and every little bit spent will help towards making these improvements at the hospital, where one sick child is admitted every four minutes.
