Sinead O Connor seeks publics help in finding missing teenage son

Sinead O’Connor, who is now known as Shuhada’ Sadaqat,  has asked for the public’s assistance in finding her 14-year-old son Shane who has been missing for two days.

The mum took to Twitter to plead for help following her son’s disappearance on Friday, January 18.

She wrote: “This is my 14 yr old son. Missing since Friday. Last seen in Wicklow town at 7.42 pm tonight. Allegedly Headed for the home of someone called Orlando.  If you see him or he is at your home please contact Dundrum or Wicklow Gardai.”

She pleaded: “My sweet 14 yr old son has been going missing a lot and is currently missing for the last two days. If you are a parent in whose house he has been staying or is staying, please call Dundrum Gardai. Not calling them is not helping him.”

Gardaí issued an official appeal this morning. They are seeking the public’s help in tracing the 14-year-old’s whereabouts.

They stated that Shane was last seen on Friday, January 18 2019, at approximately 5.15pm in Woodpark Ballinteer.

Shane is described as being 5'11'' of slim build with dark hair. When last seen he was wearing a black hoodie, black Adidas bottoms with white stripes and white runners. Shane is known to frequent the Wicklow area.

Anyone who has seen Shane or who can assist in locating him is asked to contact Dundrum Garda Station on 01 6665600, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
