About: Sligo Folk Park is located on the beautiful village of Riverstown, about 25km from Sligo town. The Folk Park is set on the grounds of Millview House and provides an authentic experience of rural life and Irish heritage at the turn of the late 19th century. Visitors young and old can enjoy the cultural history and heritage of the region. There is a wonderful Exhibition Hall which is home to the largest collection of agricultural and rural artefacts in Ireland. This has been built in the style of a Traditional Residence with the typical courtyard.

Another highlight is the Village Street, a recreated streetscape that features a creamery store, grocery shop and pub. The Millview Restaurant is also a lovely spot for families to enjoy a range of home-made specialties.

There are ever-changing exhibitions and special events held throughout the year, and there are constantly new displays and artefacts been added so each visit brings a new experience. A major highlight of the year is the Annual Vintage Day, which is held in the summer.
