The Euros have brought us some beautiful moments - mainly on the pitch, in the form of wonder-goals – but the star of the tournament may yet turn out to be an adorable, chubby-cheeked baby!
When Iceland player Ari Freyr Skulason’s team crashed out of the tournament after a 5-2 defeat to France this week, naturally the star needed a little cheering up, and his family was waiting at the edge of the crowd to greet him after the full-time whistle.
The moment when Skulason was handed his adorable baby girl, Camilla, however, was the moment that a young star was born!
The crowd was well and truly heart-warmed as Camilla cuddled up to her doting dad, wearing a simple babygro and a GIANT pair of pink protective headphones.
One feature that spectators couldn’t quite get over, however, was Camilla’s cheeks – they are just SO chubby!
It didn’t take long for images of little Camilla to start doing the rounds on social media, and her newfound stardom has even produced a new nickname – ‘Cheekson’, a clever play on her surname!
While it may be a football tournament, it’s tiny little stars like Camilla who have won our hearts.
