It’s time to batten down the hatches as Storm Dylan makes its way towards Ireland.
Met Éireann has issued a Status Orange wind warning for 12 counties, including Meath, Westmeath, Louth, Longford, Donegal, Monaghan, Cavan and Connacht.
Storm Dylan is set to hit the country on Saturday night or early on Sunday morning, bringing winds of up to 120km/h with it.

A Status Yellow wind warning has been issued for Munster, Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow and Offaly.
Met Éireann stated, “Southwest winds from Storm Dylan will reach mean speeds of 50 to 65km/h with gusts up to 100 km/h.”
The warning will remain in place until 06.00 on Sunday.
