Babies can get hungry anywhere at any time, and any doting mother would go to the ends of the Earth to ensure they don’t have to put up with a rumbling tummy – even if she’s exchanging vows on her wedding day.

This has been illustrated in the most beautiful way, in a photo submitted to the Breastfeeding Mama Talk Facebook page.

In it, bride Christina Torino-Benton is seen breastfeeding her nine-month-old daughter Gemma, as she sits before the altar at her wedding to fiancé Danny Benton.

“Talk about feeding anytime and anywhere. That moment when you’re getting married and your baby gets hungry. Feeling SO proud of myself! Fighting that good fight!” read the caption.

In an interview with The Huffington Post, the Canadian bride said: “I made it work…I had to! Danny has always been so incredibly supportive on this breastfeeding journey, so he just nodded in agreement.”

So touched were Christina’s fellow mums that they began to share their own experiences and memories in the comment section – it’s well worth a look.
