Summer Crafts: Holiday memory door sign

Having recently returned from our family holiday with a bucket full of shells the kids wanted to make something with them so we sat down with all our ice cream sticks and a bucket of shells and this is what we made. You could also make a photo frame by just using four sticks and put a picture from your holidays inside the frame

 

What you need:

 

Ice Cream Sticks

Sea Shells

Glue

Cardstock

Paint/Paintbrush

Pretty Ribbon

 

Method:

1. Line up about 8 large ice lolly sticks or 12 normal size ones.
2. Once you have decided on the size of the sign trace around the sticks onto your cardstock and cut out the shape.
3. Glue all of the ice lolly sticks to the cardstock.
4. Decide where you are going to place your sea shells around the edge of the sign and glue them on. Leave to dry for an hour.
5. Pick a colour paint and paint the words/name of your choice onto the sign.
