Tamera Mowry is supposed to be celebrating her son's sixth birthday.
However, little Aden's celebration has come at a time when the family are still in the period of mourning for their niece.
The sisters both tragically confirmed the loss of their niece, Alaina.
Alaina sadly lost her life in the Thousand Oaks shooting.
Taking to social media to mark Aden's birthday, the sisters posted bittersweet birthday messages.
"Happy 6th birthday Aden! Alaina was excited to come to your birthday party."
"But as you said buddy, “She lives in your heart now.” We love you," wrote Tamera.
Tia also posted a picture to mark the occasion and said: "Happy Birthday my Aden! We love you so much."
"You and Cree are inseparable and the love you share for each other is what the world needs right now. See you soon buddy."
We can only imagine how difficult this time must be for their families.
We hope Aden has a fantastic birthday in spite of the recent events.
