The 2015 Flavours of Fingal County Show will take place on Saturday, 27th and Sunday, 28th of June. Now in its fourth year, this fun-filled family festival has grown in popularity as it showcases the finest fresh food produce in the entire country.

The historic walled garden of Newbridge House will become home to the food festival, where a mix of food stalls will feature good food in abundance from the Fingal area. This year, the event will play host to forty additional artisan producers offering even more tasty treats.

Cookery demonstrations will also be in full swing featuring some of Ireland’s top chefs creating delicious delicacies using local produce.  Flavours will also be hosting the semi-finalists of the inaugural All Ireland Craft Butchers Home Cook 2015 competition and attendees will have an opportunity to witness the art of sausage making first hand.

No county show would be complete without a showcase of Ireland’s most groomed cows and the livestock competition makes for a fascinating insight into what still is a highly competitive arena.  In addition to livestock and sheep competitions, attendees are invited to take in equestrian contests as well as sheepdog trials.

Flavours is also the ultimate day out welcoming young and old and and little ones are welcome to bring along their pooch for the day.

Tickets cost €10 for one day adult admission including two kids for free and €7.50 for concession entry.  Parking is free and the event is well equipped with facilities for the disabled.
