Anyone who has a baby knows that you need to be an octopus to get anything done.  You constantly have the baby in your arms when you are doing, well...everything.

So naturally, the solution is a baby carrier to free up your hands, right? But which one? We spent a great deal of time researching which one would be most comfortable for mum (and baby) and it can get seriously confusing. Also, not everyone has the time to trawl through all the mummy forums finding out which is the best buy or most useful gadget -  which is why we are here!

Do you go for a more structured carrier that you can use for longer periods, or a soft one with rings that is more for sleeping babies? Enter the Caboo. It is a clever combo of a warp and a sling. It is soft and the material washes easily. Best of all? The luxury of having your hands free while parents are comforted by knowing that the sling is secure. The reason mums are raving about this carrier at the moment is because it also accommodates both front and rear positioning, and is handy for quick trips to the shops.

I've had a fair few different carriers over the years and sometimes figuring out how you string them up is daunting, complicated and time-consuming. This one is also a good price point, especially compared with others such as the BabyBjorn, which is double the price.

Ultimately, the Caboo is so popular because it is suitable from birth and has eight carrying positions. It also comes in some seriously fashionable colours and accommodates positioning for 'frog legs' which is recommended for infants who have hip dysplasia. (Both my daughters had this).

Not everyone has the time to research all the millions of gadgets on the market but hopefully, we can take some of the guesswork out of minding your baby (and make it more convenient, too). You can also add it to your baby wish list on Amazon here which is a really handy way to keep track of your 'wants and needs' list for baby.

What baby gadget could you not live without? We'd love to hear your experiences.
